I've found it quite accessible. Some of the buttons are labeled oddly, but that's pretty easy to overlook. You open the app, pick a song from your library, then you can begin editing. There are start and stop tickers to flick up and down. There is a play button to check how you are doing with your creation. There are buttons to really fine tune the time intervals. When you have your tone just how you like it, the app will create it for you; you can email it to yourself or share it with a friend. Of course, at this point, you need to go to iTunes on your pc/mac and upload the tone.
