Hello Shane,
I too download music as you, and too noticed at least with this new
version of I tunes that any new song downloaded does end up making it's
own playlist by date. So the more songs you download the more play list
clutter you end up with.
Best advise, take all the new music from all the downloaded play lists
and just throw them into one major play list, and then delete all the
other downloaded play lists, this will clear up the clutter.
Unfortunately, I don't know of any other way to get around this
issue, I myself have to do the same..if you feel strongly about it,
then just let Apple know, I'm sure they can come up with a good fix in
an upcoming version.
So, hope this helps....happy downloading.
Smile.

Subject: Question on iTunes music
Hi again,
Last night, I downloaded about 8 songs from Youtube and synced them to my
phone. But I've noticed that on the phone and pc, they're coming up as
playlists, not just an individual song, however, I just delete the playlist
and I still have the song. My question is, is this normal for them to come
up as playlists? For example, Jaws and VO says downloads playlist, the
numberof songs, and the date in which I downloaded them.
Thanks.
