it appears to work with the IPhone 5 should it operate independently of the
call volume?

Subject: RE: lowering the VO level on a call

Hi Ray,

In order to lower Voiceover volume during a call you have to add volume to the
rotor in Settings,
General, Accessibility, Voiceover, Rotor. I believe by default volume is not
set to be on the rotor.
Once you have added it, you can turn the rotor to volume when you are on a
call, then flick down
with one finger to lower the Voiceover volume. If everything works as it
should, you should also be
able to use the volume buttons on the side of the phone to raise or lower the
call volume and by
using both the volume buttons and the volume rotor for Voiceover you should be
able to find the
right balance where you can hear the call and hear Voiceover. Unfortunately for
me on my 4S this has
not been working since the release of iOS 6, but it appears to effect only
certain phones and I am
not sure if the iPhone 5 has that issue at all or not. Anyhow, just give it a
try and I'd be
interested to know if you have an iPhone 5 whether this works for you.

Regards,
Sieghard

this has to be dead simple so forgive me folks I thought I saw where call and
VO audio levels could
be set independently. Problem is I don't recall it. Help?
