Hi Bob, I think what is confusing you is when you use the dot 6, y to insert "ally," VO will announce "capital." A similar issue occurs when you use the ff lower contraction in the middle of a word. VO announces "exclamation" but when you complete the word it is expanded correctly. A work around is to turn off announcing characters and just have VO announce the words. This is found in the settings menu. HTH. Eileen
