Hello Chris,

I follow Eileen's instructions except for a couple of things:
After typing my subject, I do switch to grade 1 braille. Hold down dot 6 and swipe down.

* Now, I do not put the email address in quotes. Quotes are only needed if spaces exist. I tested this, and the email address was put in the Send To field just fine without the quotes. * On the MBraille keyboard, dot 5 is the quote sign, and dot 4 is the @ sign.

Now remember, if you are sending an email to someone in your contact list, you do not have to type out the address, rather just put the first few letters of their name.
For example, for my name, I just type chr.
So if it is someone you might be sending messages to frequently, then I would consider adding them to your contacts.

I sent a message to my self by entering the line:
.mail here chr
The word 'here' was my subject, and the letters chr made sure it was sending it to myself.

Hope this helps.

Ok, but how does one insert an at in uncontracted Braille? Because I
thought it was dot 4.

Hello Folks,

Since several on this list have been having difficulty inserting an email address, I decided to analyze what works for me.

1. First, write the text that one wants in the message body.
2. Add a new line by swiping down (starting from the volume side).
3. Add the mail command using .mail and then a space.
4. Type the subject line using both an open andclose quotation marks and then a space. 5. Change to uncontracted braille by holding down on dot 6 and flick up or down.

6. use dot 4 as the quotation marks in front and after writing the email address. 7. Swipe downward (starting from the volume button side) to activate the command.

I hope this helps others to insert the email address when using MBraille to generate an email.

Best,
Eileen
