Hi Carol, As Teresa mentioned, lighting has a lot to do with it, as well as the distance of the object from the camera. My biggest suggestion is for you to continue playing with TapTapSee. From what I have noticed, once you get more familiar with the app and the situations when it identifies items it will become easier for you with time. Teresa gave great advice.
