Hi Matthew, good question. I think Zello's public channels are really good. I have found though that sometimes when I've used Zello, I can lock the phone and find that I've missed notifications because Zello has routed all system sounds through the earpiece. It was a while ago that i gave up on it for this reason, so maybe that's been addressed now.
Voxer's just elegant and it works, and it seems a lot more people are active on it for one to one communication.
