Hallo Zoe, okay, then the orientation is not the problem. On which device do you play MouseKick?
If the three-finger swipe to the left doesn't work at all, there is a workaround to leave the training mode: There is, indeed, a back button on the screen in the lower left corner of the screen. However, you cannot reach it with VoiceOver, since I want to save a blind user from accidentally hitting it. The finger swipe should provide the same functionality. If you turn VoiceOver off, you can tap the button and leave the training mode. The same button also appears in a real game.
