Below is an explanation I posted before. However, this was before the new Google Groups interface came along. Adding an alternate email address should not have changed, but once you have done that the steps to select that email address from the drop down list in Google Groups maybe different depending on whether you are using the new interface. Anyhow, here it is and hopefully it is of some help: You can add one or more alternative e-mail addresses to your gmail account and then once you have done this you can go to the Viphone home page, sign in with your gmail address and then click on "Edmit my Membership". Here you can set your reading options, e.g. No mail, digest mode etc. and you can also choose the e-mail address to which any e-mail from the list is delivered. This is a drop-down combo box and as long as you added alternative email addresses to your google account those addresses will show up in that combo drop-down list. I have, for example, added "[email protected]" as an address and if I now go to Edit my membership I can pick either my @gmail.com address which I initially used to subscribe or my @live.ca address which I added later. As long as the @live.ca address is selected all my list mails go to that address and this way you can change it any time to whichever e-mail you want. Here is a link which should either ask you to sign in with your gmail credentials or it may sign you in automatically if you have this setup: https://accounts.google.com/EditUserInfo?hl=en If this doesn't sign you in automatically, sign in and then find where it says: Add an alternate email address to your account A bit further down it will display your current gmail address and there will be an edit field "Add an additional email address:". Type in whatever other e-mail address you want to use and then click the "Save" button. Now go to the Viphone list at this address: http://groups.google.com/group/viphone/ find the "Edit my Membership" link and click it. On the next page you can simply press whatever quick navigation key will take you to a combo box, if you use Jaws it is "c". This will say this: Which address do you want to use for this group? The address you added before should now be in this combo box, simply select it and click the "Save my settings" button. This may sound long, but it takes about 2 minutes to do and I certainly find it easier than unsubscribing and resubscribing and if down the road you want to go back to using the gmail address or maybe you want to use a completely different address, you can do it easily.
