Hi, you can practice in one of two ways.

1. Press VO Plus K to go into the keyboard help learning mode. This is similar to the voice over help, but works anywhere on your iDevice. When you are in this mode, all the keys pressed, including VO hot keys will be announced. Pressing escape or VO Plus K will terminate the help mode and put you back where you were. VO key is pressed with control and option at the same time. If you are used to more windows style keys, this would be similar to control and Windows keys.

2. Open the notes app. Everyone has this app and there is no special setup required. Start a new note by double-tapping the add button and then start typing away in the edit field. You can of course save your work when finished, or you can cancel it out.

I hope these suggestions help.

Hi. thing is, my email is not set up. i don't know how to set it up
yet. I took the bluetooth keyboard about 15 feet away from the iPod. I
thought i might be able to pair it with my PC. All of a sudden the iPod
starts talking.
I have learned a good deal. But I have got the keyboard locked. it's
the thing left of the spaceBar. Well, it used to toggle locked and
unlocked; now it's just stuck on keyboard locked. any help appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi. I bought a nifty little bluetooth keyboard which pairs
automatically with my iPod. Is there some spot where I can just play
with the keyboard and learn where things are? Can I do that in
either notes or reminders--just hit keys to find out what they are?
Thanks. There are times when the keyboard is just a God-send.
Thanks for any help. Penny
