Hello again,

OK, I checked all 3 modules and the battery placement is consistent except
that the main indoor module which usually should be plugged in using the
included wall adapter and USB cable has 4 Double A batteries as backup power
and the outdoor module and new indoor module use 4 Triple A Batteries.

Here is how to put the batteries in correctly:

Open the end cap with a large coin, you usually can open it also by putting
the ball of your hand on it, push down a bit and turn.

Hold the station vertically in front of you so the opening is pointing up.

Turn the station so the 2 holes where the batteries go (2 in each hole) are
away from you, sort of in the 11 o'clock and 1 o'clock position.

Put 2 batteries into the left hole (11 o'clock) with the knobby thing down
so the smooth end of the battery is up.

Put the other 2 batteries into the right hole (1 o'clock) so the knobby on
the battery is facing up.

Replace the end cap and turn it until it locks.

Hope this makes sense.

Regards,

Sieghard
