To all who are on a limited data plan like me, please check out the
mobile data section under Settings, General. Towards the end, under "use
mobile data for", you can turn on or off certain features, like iCloud
documents, iTunes, etc. Turning this off means these services will be
restricted to wifi, therefore preventing you from going over your data
plan without realization because one or more services are allowed
connectivity over mobile data. For those living in the states substitute
mobile data with cellular data.
Thanks and hope this helps.
