Hi, I've had the best luck with Navigon, although it's been a while since I've tried MotionX GPS. The last time I used it I felt that it's user interface was a bit clunky. For car traveling though, I use Waze gps. it's a social GPS, but provides very good instructions. Not meant for walking, but only for driving.

Cheers.

Hey everyone. Been playing with 5 of the main stream GPS apps, navigon,
tomTom, garmin, motionx GPS drive and magellan roadmate. I'd be curious
to know what everyone else's favorite app is. For me, it's motionx GPS
drive, hands down. It seems to provide the best instructions, and has
good support for walking roots. Next would be the Garmin app I think. I
would probably rank TomTom and Navigon next and put Magellan roadmate at
the bottom, it has not been updated for a while and crashes when trying
to do a google search. There's also another app, Telenav GPS, but it's
not very useable because most of the buttons are unlabeled.
