Did you set up your mail account on your iPhone then? Have you ever
successfully gotten mail on your iPhone?
Since you're using POP, do you have your PC set to remove the messages
from the server once you've downloaded them? If so then it's possible
there just aren't any messages left on the server when you go to check
this from your iPhone.
