I found an answer. I found an app named, "plain text" by Hog Bay software. It is free but has advertisements. It costs $1.99 to remove ads. The program is very accessible and works well with voiceover. I have asked people to text me their home address for my list of wedding invitations. When they arrive I only need to copy the message, open plain text, double tap new document, change the untitled document name to whatever I wish, open document content and paste. If I have Plain text set to sync automatically with dropbox I first hear dropbox announce the title of the text file and when I update the document content dropbox then announces the update.
