Hmm, just checked and I do not have any such 3.5 cable. I have the
Bluetooth version of these and not the wired versions. There may be some
kind of extender cable with the wired versions.

I thought the plastic straps were stabilizers if you didn't like how the
headphones fitted as is. Not sure about the additional 3.5 cable as there's
no where on the headphones to insert any other cables unless I'm mistaken.

What is that extra little 3.5 mil cable that comes with the wired
headset? I can't seem to find a use for it.
Also, what are those plastic strips for with the bluetooth headset?

Hello Lisa,
The headphones are supposed to fit just the way you have them. If they
were
supposed to fit snugly to your head, they'd have adjusters.
Cheers,

They fit behind my ears Okay, but I've given up on getting them to fit
exactly across the back of my head. They sort of droop down like a
backwards blouse so they're almost touching the back of my neck between
my
shoulders. I have long hair, and even in a pony tail this can get a
little annoying, but I'm used to it. I've moved in all kinds of
directions while wearing them just to try to knock them off, including
bending down to harness and pick up after my dog and while the
headphones
shift some on my face, they've never come off or even came close to
sliding out of place.
