At one time, if you had an account on TuneIn.com, then you could restore your favorites through that account in the TuneIn app's settings. I had to do this over a year ago since after an update, all my favorites had disappeared. The account would probably work now but I haven't restored since that one time. IN my humble opinion, this is a huge advantage of having an account, if only to be able to restore one's favorites.
