Does it have a way to delete what's in a calendar? I found appointments back
from when I just got my phone. I thought they would disappear after they
rolled off.

The default calendar app also has two alerts you can set for each
appointment. But, yes, you do have to make sure you have a calendar alert
sound set under settings.

I have two alerts I can set for each event. If you've done this, and
you're still not hearing an alert, you may want to go into Settings ->
Sounds and make sure you have a sound set for your calendar alerts and
make sure the volume for your alerts isn't set to zero.
