Hi Shirley,
Double tap the button that says "Earpiece" or, if you have a headset plugged in, it will say "Headset". As soon as you do the call will switch to Speakerphone and the button will now turn into a "Speakerphone" button. If you double tap it again the call will revert back to the earpiece (or headset). The button is the very left button in that row of 4 or 5 buttons right above the "End Call" button which is first right above the home key. Above that are 4 or 5 buttons and it's the one on the very left.
