I will echo what Eileen has said. I use an iPhone 4, Stand Scan Pro, and, Prizmo and Text Grabber and get very good results with this combination.
Unless you are scanning some unusual items, you should get decent results, even with the iPhone 4. I plan to replace my 4 this Fall with the new iPhone model, or the 5. I am very curious to see how much different the results might be with the better camera. I would think that the camera on the iPhone 5 would give more accurate results, but I have no complaints.
