I have not seen this, I keep my iphone 5 in the mophie juice pack case
all the time. If you are concerned, you can keep the battery in the
case enabled and the phone will use that battery first and then will
use its own battery.

Did any of you using battery cases notice faster draining of phone
battery when it is not actually being charged by the case?
I think I see this after having received a battery case as a gift and
am not sure if it is a coincidence.
I am wondering also because in the user guide they caution against
plugging the phone into a computer that is turned off since this might
drain the battery rather than charge it.
