Hello: I'm assuming that you're both talking about ZanyTouch. I start the game by opening the app, and then selecting the new game button. I double tap on the level of my choice. After selecting my level, I quickly turned off voiceover as the music starts for the game, announcing for me to get ready. Hope this helps. :-)
