Better watch your step, some people on this list don't like people talking about getting free stuff, or breaking the DRM on paid files. But to answer your question, it depends on the format. If it is a movie, it needs to be in the MP4 format. There are a few paid programs out there that do this. But it all depends on the os your using. On windows I use a program called movavi, not a miss spelled word there. And on the mac a lot of people like DVD remaster but it costs 50 bucks. Handbreak also does this, and it is free for both windows and mac. There is another program that removes incription for you, converts the file, in one process, and it is called mac DVD ripper PRO, it's 25 bucks, but does everything you need it too.
