Hi! iSpellChecker is a free app and totally accessible.
The way it works is, you type in 1 pain and your text document shows up in another. When you spell check, word choices are offered and you double tap the one you want. When your finished with it, then you export what you've wrote to the email program, text app etc. I personally think it's better suited to documents rather then to texting and email. I don't often use this app as I use my computer for that but sense it's free, you can decide for yourself if it meets your needs. Regards, Alan Go Chicago Bears in 2013!
