Do you mean "tracking with heading " instead? I get this by tapping the tracking button twice. I have seen 3D somewhere- but not today. Guess those options disappear depending on other settings, yes?

This mean it will tell you where you go as you go in live information, but no turn by turn information. If you turn left into unknown streets, no voice will tell you that you are outside of a planned route. Maps will just announce the name of the streets.
