you turn blue tooth on in both. then you are going to be asked for a 4 digit number in your iPhone settings / accessibility spot.
you determine the 4 digit number.
Then you go back to the braille device and you will be asked for the same 4 digit number. I hope this helps, for I wanted to copy and paste the whole shebang from their website, but the U2 wouldn't allow for it. if you need help, go to their web site and the whole thing is listed under resources.
