It's not true multiplayer in that there's no player interaction. Think of it
more as a competitive leader board. You don't risk anything by participating
except some food that might otherwise have gone into quests or training, just
using character stats from the main game in a sort of friendly contest to see
who's done a better job at building adventuring parties. You win or lose
ranking points based on your success and these points determine your place in
the league with prizes for the top spots. Combat in the Storm8 games used to
drive me nuts with how expensive it used to get building/maintaining all those

agency in how these things came out. It's a funny sentiment coming from someone
who's wanting to get more into tabletop RPGs, but there it is... lol I'm also

lavor text for the shops/missions/etc can be a real riot.

This is a blast. Ran out of food, debating to buy more to try and hold on a bit
longer.
As someone mentioned a while ago, it is truly how you position your men, and
level takes part. I have gotten lucky and defeated a few castles 4 levels above
me just how I used my men.
I am curious of who is participated in the arena, I am wondering if I have
battled you yet.
