Well, I'm in the US and I got Solara from the US store, so it seems like some of these differences aren't just along national boundaries.

I'm on level 29, and have about 230 espers.
My arena tournaments started with 200 espers for first place, , till
now, i'm on Mithril, and its 500 Expers for first place, 300 for
second, and 100 on third.
Also, with cassle expention, i get 35 espers each time i expend.
Something i found very weird is that, it seems the golds count also
different for different country location. For example, a same shop, it
requires me to buy it with 200K gold, and for another player is about
100K gold.
I'm on the Asia and Pacific, while the other player is on North America

There seems to be a couple different paths for esper. I have received 30
esper in total thus far, and I am level 38 now. I have played every quest,
but have never finished above rank 5 in an arena.

A good friend of mine is currently level 28, and has received a couple
hundred esper thus far from quests.

My arena tournaments have never shown more than 70 esper for first place. My
friend's arena tournament always shows at least 200 esper for first place.

There does not seem to be a time of starting factor in play as some people
report receiving lots of esper and others report receiving almost no esper.

The only difference I have been able to ascertain thus far is that I am
registered in the US App Store, and my friend is registered in the
Australian App Store.

When I was in the Ruby rank, the displayed esper for first place for me was
60.

I've gotten several hundred esper as rewards in quests. First place for
winning a tournament in the Ruby league is also 600 esper at the moment.

Without spending cash for it, the only other way is to do quests that pop
up
with esper as a reward, and even then it isn't much.

Subject: know everyone is sick of solara but questions

How can you increase your esper? I have 366, but someone said they have
over
1000? I bought 1000 to start doing the food shops, but can't buy anymore
at
least this month. Any ideas? Level 9, but when released into the arena,
how
will I know who I can battle? Can I try the tournament? Will I see stats
for
my opponents so I can choose my best? I have been keeping my crew trained
to
the level. Is that a good idea? Smiley! First time in the realm of
magic/fantasy and learning to crawl and probably will be crunched by
better
players for a long time. LOL! Funny, have not lost once in a quest. Sure
is
not because I know what I am doing, though :)
