Hi Carol,
When I first got my fingers on MBraille, I too was having extreme difficulties
with it. You may want to try these settings and see which one will work best
for you.
1. You can keep the v shape alignment, but change the dot or finger position by
going into the settings and changing dots 1-4 and 3-6 by toggling on the option
with a double tap. To open settings, do a 3 finger swipe either right to left
or vise versa. This option is under the tutorial option somewhere.
2. This is my setting of choice, even though I have tried the table mode with
the dots flipped as explained above. Open up the settings menu. Change the dots
1-4 and 3-6 by toggling it on with a double tap. Next, toggle on the away mode
in layout and then press okay. Tap on braille kkeyboard and this will bring you
back to the screen to begin brailleing.
What this does to the cell is when the screen faces away from you in landscape
mode the ring fingers are for dots 1-4, the middle fingers for dots 2-5, and
the index fingers for dots 3-6. This is the only setting that makes sense to me
and allows me to use this app with speed and confidence. HTH.

If you have any further questions, you can write me off list. I believe that
once you get the hang of using MBraille, it will be your only choice for word
processing on the phone.

Best,
Eileen
