I get this behavior occasionally when the message hasn't finished downloading. Are you reading your mail over wifi or cellular data? Have you explored around with your finger or flicked right from the top of the screen to see if the message body is there? You shouldn't have to do this, a two finger swipe up should do the trick, but to find out what's going on in this case, it may be worth exploring the screen a bit.

Hi Regina:

I must be doing something wrong here. Whenever I do the two finger swipe
up, its reading me all the header information and menu items. Not the body
of the message. Thanks!

----- Original Message ----- Hi:
To read the email, flick up with 2 fingers. It will go to the body of the
email. Further questions, ask! Welcome to iPhone!
