I was a bout to post that it was the mute switch when I saw your reply. I hardly use mute and didn't know it did that while letting VO keep speaking. Voiceover speech is working properly, but voiceover sounds, the clicks and dings are gone. I've restarted the phone, I've done a hard reset using the home and on/off switch...
