Hi All, The Phone Drive app is on sale today for $0.99. It usually lists for $1.99. This app can be use to transfer files between your computer and iOS device and view various file types (play music, read documents, etc.) It has Dropbox and iCloud support, is a universal app (for both iPhone and iPad), and has good international language support (localized for 15 languages). Up till now, this app has gone on sale relatively infrequently. For students who received scanned PDF images of documents, Prizmo will let you open and read such files attached to your mail, or transferred or downloaded from a computer or web site, even if you are using an iOS device with a poor or no camera (e.g. iPad, iPod Touch). And it can be used to OCR text documents imaged with the device's camera, although blind users may find this works best using a device like the StandScan Pro to assist in holding your iPhone flat, steady, and the correct distance from your document for a good OCR image. Prizmo also supports OCR in multiple languages. If you transfer a lot of OCR'd files back to your computer, Phone Drive can expedite the file organization, naming, and transfer.
