With respect, it is the table mode that causes the most trouble. I shall assume you use an iPhone, so the away mode is laid out in classic 6dot pattern on the screen, using all the screen, so 3 fingers from each hand, reach easily. Table mode has the dot buttons laid out at an angle, that is what throws folk.
You need to do a 3finger swipe left to go to the main menu, find and tap the settings button, and maybe turn off Auto, as that keep swapping mode as you move your phone about. The iPad version lines up all dot buttons along an edge, long edge in landscape and short edge, bottom edge by the Home button, in portrait. In those cases, you just have to get the spacing right, the short edge is preferred to save having to spread the fingers so far. I use the iPhone, and locked to the Away mode, as that is the most straight forward. It seems that the away mode causes people the most problems. Can someone who is an expert with this app provide some tips and tricks? thanks. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
