App aside, you can also listen to sporting events. Football included at CompassMediaNetworks.com. They even have a dedicated link to listen to live events on the iPhone and iPad. I sometimes do this if the radio streams aren't working on the Pro Football app. In my case it's the raiders, but I believe that other teams broadcast through them too. You kind of have to be familiar with the layout of the page since not all links are spoken correctly on the iPhone with Voiceover, but it streams just fine when you click on the iPhone link. I've only done this with Safari, so I can't speak as to accessibility with alternate browsers like Chrome or Bing on the iPhone or iPad. I saved the direct link for the section I'm interested with the Raiders and placed it in a Sports folder I created with my other Sports related apps for convenience.
