As Fred pointed out, the Apple event during which we learn all about what the new iPhone has to offer will be on Tuesday at 10 AM Pacific. I can't remember when you were able to preorder the iPhone 5 last year, but it is assumed that the new iPhone just like last year will be in Apple Stores on Friday, September 20 and also that if you order it from Apple online that you will get it on that day. I think you will be able to preorder the phone eiter on the 10th or shortly after for delivery by the 20th. If you want to know more I suggest you check if Rob will put out another Today in iOS Podcast episode today or tomorrow. He did mention the following on the Today in iOS website regarding what we might see in the new iPhones: Here is a Bingo Card with many of the Rumors being thrown around for the next Gen iPhone (5S) and possibly lower cost iPhone (5C) and what may also be announced at the September 10th Event. These are not my predictions - just a listing of some of the rumors I think have even a remote possibility.
