First of all, have you tried different websites to see if you get this message consistently?
You can also try and turn off your WiFi to see if you have the same problem on 3G. If not then the problem lies in your WiFi connection. I would then go into Settings, General, Reset and reset the network settings only. This will require you to reenter any WiFi passwords, but there is a good chance it would fix your problem.
