Hi Donna and Harry,

No, Donna, the app Harry is looking for is called "Omoby" from the developer
"IQ Engine". The link you provided is for an app called "WhatzIt" from the
developer "Source Innovative Systems".

I did a Google search for "Omoby on iTunes" and found several links to the
app stores of various countries. I tried the US app store and was asked if I
wanted to allow the link to open iTunes. When I said Yes and iTunes opened,
I received a message that the app was not currently available in the US app
store, but it was available in the Israeli app store and did I want to
switch stores. I said Yes, but a few seconds later another message popped up
saying the app was currently not available in the Israeli app store, this
time I did not get a message asking to switch to another store, but just an
OK button.

I tried another link, this time to the dutch app store, once again I was
told it was not available in the dutch app store, but that it was available
in the Israeli app store. The same thing happened again.

It appears that either this app is being updated and the developer pulled it
from the app store temporarily or that the app is simply gone for good. I
did a further google search since sometimes in the past I found app review
sites where I was able to find mention of an app which was discontinued, but
I could not find anything about oMoby.

OK, having said all this, Harry, it is really no great loss. Omoby did OK a
few years ago, but there are better apps out there now. The first that comes
to mind which everybody loves is Tap Tap See. Another is Camfind, below are
the links:

Tap Tap See: Free

US App Store:

Danish App Store:

Camfind: Free

US App Store:
>
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/camfind-search-your-camera/id595857716?mt=8

Danish App Store:
>
https://itunes.apple.com/dk/app/camfind-search-your-camera/id595857716?mt=8

Both apps, incidently, are by the same developer. I am not sure if down the
road they will focus on just one or continue to release updates for both.
Tap Tap See is typically the first app I use when I want to recognize
something and only if it doesn't find anything or the result is too generic
do I try apps like Talking Goggles, Digit-Eyes or VisWiz.

Regards,

Sieghard
