I'd like to know that as well. My iPod fifth generation has that ability to cross fade songs and you get to choose from several choices of cross fade. And the nice part is you can toggle it on and off in settings. I was very much surprised when I got my iPhone 4 that this feature is not there. Maybe we'll see it in ios 7. What do you think? -------
