Hi,
I googled this and came up with a fake app with a demonstration on Youtube.
After giving the name of the app and demonstrating it the video ended up
with it as an April Fools joke.
He used two iPhones recording at the same time on either side of a table,
and he combined the two mono recordings to create a stereo recording.
The operating system doesn't allow both microphones to be used for recording
at the same time.
