One way to do this, is it the phone number is in your recent calls list, tap the more info button that is located directly to the right of the phone number you want to add. It will give you the option of adding it to contacts. Tapping this will give you the option of adding it to an existing contact, tap on this. Then, next to the phone number that should now appear below the already existing mobile number, there will be a button that may also say mobile. Tapping this button will bring up a list of different types of phone numbers, i.e. work, home, mobile, iPhone etc. Select home, then done, and this should add it to the contact.
