Hi John, I also don't like that it is difficult to swipe on an IOS device screen after one washes his or her hands. I often have to repeatedly swipe my fingertips on some sort of cloth, but out of impatience, often that cloth turns out to be my shirt. I do this to completely dry off all moisture from my fingers, and if I need to get something sent off, I execute a scrub gesture on my forearm to get my fingers all oily again. <Smile.>
Will definitely have to look into a stylus for my iPod.
