Don't be in such a hurry, wait a while for the numbers of people accessing
the app store for upgrades to slow. You will get your updates, just be
patient.

I had a similar experience. I was told that there were a number of app
updates, but, when I chose "not now" to the automatic updates questions, I
was given the message that all of my apps were up to date. But, I am sure
that they are not. So, how can I update? I am going to try going back to
settings, to the iTunes store and try to change the setting to allow
automatic updates. Anybody have any better ideas?
