There's also the three finger swipe right option as well.

They took away the slide to unlock option. Holding 1 finger on the

work either. My phone is setup not to require a password but I don't
think that has anything to do with it. I do remember reading somewhere
that one of the most requested new features was to remove the slide to
unlock gesture. It use to say slide to opn or double tap. Now you have
to flick right twice and double tap. Not easier just different.

I'm not sure that i like ios 7 all that much. Maybe I'll like it more
after I get my 5s.

Hi Alan,

In IOS7, when pressing the power button to turn on iDevice, can you still
simply place your index finger right above the home button to access
"slide
to unlock" then double-tap?

Golly, I have ios 7 on my iPhone and no sliding, no fooling around. I
just
flick right twice to get to the unlock button and single finger double
tap
that and I'm in. Note: I have my phone set to not require a password.
Yes
I know that's a greater risk but I'll take that chance. I have an
iPhone 4.

Hello all,
If you're having difficulty finding the unlock button on the screen
as IM,
I have found that if you hold down the home button and tell Siri to open
an app, it will unlock phone and go directly to that app.
