Karen, I was running the DirecTV app 2.5.1 which is at least a couple of
versions old on my iPhone 5 and when I now launch the app, I get that same
message that an upgrade is required. Developers apparently have the option
of forcing an upgrade if they feel it is necessary and I don't imagine we'll
be able to roll back to a working prior version.

Subject: My dilemma with Direct TV

I posted a day or two ago, but with the new release, i wondered if I may
have gotten lost in the shuffle.

When I updated the Direct TV app on my phone awhile back, it seemed to be
inaccessible. So, I decided not to update my IPad mini. I discovered a few

days ago that the app on my Mini won't let me open the app until I update
it. Is there any way around this? I see an ok button, but no cancel button

when that message appears. If I update, is there any way to go back to the
old version?

I have tried using the new version on my phone, and can't seem to find any
tv listings, other than suggested listings which don't really interest me.
The old search by time and date, and by channel seems to be lost somewhere.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
