I'm not sure what message you're referring to but the native Clock app
is just the app that Apple includes with IOS. That's where the term
native comes from in this case, i.e. it came with the OS. The term
native is used to distinguish the app that came with IOS from all of the
other apps out there with similar names. The native Weather app would be
the app that came with IOS and not the app from the Weather Channel or
Weather Underground and so on.

Alan, even though your message was long I loved it, your enthusiasm

I have a stupid quistion, what is the native clock app?
Is it the app that is already on the phone with others like weather and
app store and such?
I just never heard it termed native clock app.
Pardon my ignorance, grin.
