Hi Edward and all,

With Apple iPhone, usually it got limited lock instead of full lock.
This mean, you can done it with a pass code release from your telco,
and iTunes.

What i've done with my phones are to contact the telco, usually 48
hours after purchase, and tell them the reason why i need to unlock
the phone, (going to travel to overseas) will be the reason i use, and
they will usually authorise for the unlock.
Then, 12 to 24 hours later, simply connect your phone to iTunes and
do a complete iOS restore, the phone will be unlock from any telco.

Hope this help

PS: i did this for iPhone4 and 5, unless they change on 5S...

Regards
Joanne
