Hi Jack, Just out of curiocity, what do you find annoying? I think of it as the opposite and quite like the fact I can go into the Updates tab and see exactly which apps updated in the last few days or weeks.
In addition to that I find the apps store is much faster. A sighted friend who just updated his iPhone 4 said it used to take forever for the app store to load on his phone and he said in general his iPhone 4 is snappier with iOS 7 than it was with iOS 6.
