This works properly for me. However, it may be a bit misleading since the keyboard button is not a touch typing button, e.g. if you touch it and lift your finger it will say something, but what it says is just an announcement indicating which keyboard you get next and then if you want this you have to double or split tap the button. I have English set as my default keyboard, but also have German and Emoji installed. So, if I am on the English keyboard here is what Voiceover says if I touch the button: Next keyboard, Deutsch It says “Next Keyboard” using the high quality English voice, then it says “Deutsch” using the high quality german voice which I downloaded. Now, if I leave my finger on the keyboard button and split tap, I will now hear: Next Keyboard, Emoji If I lift the finger and now check the keyboard I discover that I have the german keyboard layout and the high quality voice is speaking the characters and even the buttons like Delete, Shift, More numbers and so on are properly announced in German. If I choose to use SIRI and dictate I have to do so in German because if I spoke English when the germankeyboard is on the screen I would only get jibberish since german is expected. I think this is super cool and very smart. OK, now again to the keyboard selector. If I put my finger back on it while I am on the German keyboard, it will now say “next keyboard, emoji” and if I split tap or lift and double tap the Emoji keyboard comes on the screen. If I leave my finger on the button it will immediately say “Next keyboard, English” and another split or double tap will complete the cycle and take me back to English. As for the sound of the Spanish, maybe try and turn off “Use Pitch Change” in Accessibility Settings and see if the voice when you type now sounds differently. You can, by the way, tell SIRI “Open Accessibility” or “Open Accessibility Settings” or even just “Accessibility Settings” and SIRI will take you straight there instead of having to tap on Settings, find and double tap General then find and double tap Accessibility”. Same works with saying “SIRI Settings”, but interestingly enough not with “Open General Settings”. I like how now the next keyboard button says the keyboard language, but not very helpful if when pressing on it, you’re taken to something else entirely.
