Hi Fred, That is very baffling because if I go into Settings, SIRI and then double tap on Voice Gender I can select either male or female (Voiceover will announce which one is "selected" and I can press and hold the home key right from that screen and ask a question like "What is the time" and I get the answer in whichever voice shows as selected.
What is your SIRI language set to?
