You can go into Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> VoiceOver On ->
roter and add handwriting to your roter. It'll show up in your roter
when in a edit field. Trace the shape of a letter to input it. A three
finger flick up or down will switch between lower case, upper case,
numbers and punctuation. Two finger flicks left and right delete a
character or give you a space. You can also use it like a spot light
search on your home screen. Just start typing spelling the name of the
app you're loking for and do a two finger flick up or down to move
through the list of matching apps.
